From Bride & Groom to Mummy & Daddy
This is one of the best parts of my job. When a wedding client invites you into capture the start of their growing family.
Its an absolute honour when someone asks you to be with them and shoot their wedding day, but even better when they choose you again to capture their new addition.
I met Caroline and Alan back 2015. They got married at Bury Court Barn on a chilly December day. I knew instantly that Caroline & Alan where my kinda people . Fun creative and daring to be different. They proved that when they decided to do a "first look". Due to a slightly later wedding they wouldn't have any light so we couldn't do the photos after the ceremony, so my couple decided to meet before to do the official family ones and the couple portraits. It was a genius idea that meant straight after the ceremony they could enjoy their guests without being dragged off for photo duties.
Any how fast forward 3 years and i got in contact as i knew Caroline was pregnant and we decided to do some photos of Ewan at around 5 weeks. Normally for newborn photos we do it in the first 10 days, however this is not for everyone so we waited until Caroline & Alan had settled in to parenthood (as much as you can settle in!!!!) and i came armed with all my props and camera to capture some truly unique photos for them. We met up at Carolines parents house as they were having some work done at theirs. It was fab as the house had some very natural backdrops so we could still make it personal even though it wasn't their house.
Ewan was amazing !
Here are some of my favourites....................Enjoy xoxoxo
